The amount of ice you will need depends on your industry and how many people it will serve. For a general idea of ice needs, here is a breakdown by different industries:
Restaurants - average of 2lb of ice per customer per day.
Bars - average use of 3lb of ice per seat.
Hotels - use about 5lb. of ice per room per day.
Hospitals - cafeterias 1lb. of ice per person and an average 10lb for every bed
Schools & Universities cafeterias - average 1.5lbs of ice per student per day.
Construction Companies - average 10lb of ice per employee.
At Total Ice Solutions, we include preventative maintenance, cleaning and repairs with your ice machine or ice bin leasing plan. Our machines come with an attached sign that has a QR code to be able to contact us easily. We also know your needs may change by the season or your business may grow over time. That's why we provide an easy way to upsize or downsize your machines, and easy out contracts if necessary.

Parts and service are included in your plan. If you decide you need a bigger or smaller machine after time, you can easily trade up or down to a machine that suits your needs.
